Experience the Tour de France 2025: cycling on the edge
The Tour de France 2025 will take place from July 5 to 27. This edition will be entirely on French soil, something that has not happened since 2020.

The route will consist of 21 stages: 7 flat, 6 medium mountain, 6 high mountain with five summit finishes (Hautacam, Luchon-Superbagnères, Mont Ventoux, Courchevel-Col de la Loze and La Plagne Tarentaise), and 2 individual time trials. The highest point of the course will be the Col de la Loze, at 2,304 meters above sea level.
The Grand Départ will be in Lille, marking the return of the start of the Tour to France after three editions starting abroad. The race will travel through emblematic regions such as Normandy and Brittany, and will culminate on the Champs Elysees in Paris, resuming its traditional closing after the exception in Nice in 2024 due to the Olympic Games.
Stage highlights include the 33-km individual time trial in Caen (Stage 5) and the 11-km time trial climb to the Peyragudes altiport (Stage 13). In addition, the riders will face demanding climbs in the Pyrenees and the Alps, including the return of Mont Ventoux and decisive stages in La Plagne and Courchevel.
